All my art comes from intuition. I start my paintings with a gestural line or mark, then follow that to where it leads me. Some of these paintings are my reflections on the exciting new understandings of the cosmic energies in our universe. Others reflect patterns which generate archetypal feelings and are found in drawings and paintings from ancient times. Others express the joy found in vibrant colors and emotions!

People! Their emotions, shapes, gestures, and expressions! How to describe these attributes of people in a single canvas! That is the immense task I have chosen to portray in these paintings.

I have studied spirituality and the psychology of Carl Jung most of my adult life.These subjects heavily affect the contents of our unconscious. Many paintings in this series depict a journey through a period of emotional upheaval from the initial upset, through the pain of the journey and ending in transformation. Other paintings call attention to the wonderful Helping Presence that exists in our universe.
